Emotional Healing through Art Journaling
EMOTIONAL HEALING THROUGH ART JOURNALING with Rosa Phoenix Wang
In this 8 week class, you’ll learn to unlock the healing power of your creativity.
Learn a creative art journaling practice that can help you to lower stress, increase positive emotions, open your intuitive channels, and nourish your spirit.
This method is a blend of visual art expression, creative visualization, journal writing, gentle movement, energy healing, guided meditations and breath work.
It’s a method that you can adapt to your own individual needs, and use for many years to come.
This method may be used by anyone, regardless of artistic skill level.

Pre-requisites: This class is best suited for people who have some prior art experience in drawing and/or painting, however you do not need to be a skilled artist. Please note that this class is not a substitute for mental health services. Please make sure you have adequate mental health support as we will explore our emotions.
Supply list:
Mixed media sketchbook such as Strathmore Visual Journal, 9”x12” or similar size
Journal or notebook to write in, and pens of varying colors
Scrap paper
The following are suggested, bring what you have or enjoy using:
Non-toxic drawing/painting materials of your choice such as: pencil and soft eraser, crayons, colored pencils, gel pens, felt tip markers, watermedia such as watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, paintbrushes and cup for water (if using watermedia)
Optional: Collage materials such as magazine pictures, assorted papers, glue sticks and scissors, stamps etc.
