This course is an introduction to the principles and practice of graphic design. We will focus on projects and exercises that combine foundational design techniques with critical thinking, typography, and an introduction to concept development. Through exercises, assignments and class discussion, students will learn to create and critique form and content resulting in several finished design projects. We will be working traditionally (not on the computer) and as such, no computer program experience is required.
