Intro to Screenprinting with Kanani Miyamoto
NOTE: This course will be held in person. All students, staff and faculty must be fully vaccinated before they can enter the building. Please bring proof of vaccination with you.
Screenprinting is a versatile printing process with unique possibilities for quickly translating hand-drawn, painted, photographic and digital imagery into printed editions. This course is an exploration of basic screenprinting techniques with an emphasis on preparing stencils with drawing fluid, image negatives, color registration and photo emulsion processes.
SUPPLIES: Apron and Portfolio(carrying case for paper), Pencils, several paint brushes, x-acto knife
Students will be able to purchase: Screens, paper, and tape from Print store
