Color is fascinating and illusive! Understanding how the brain perceives color can give us a broader tool kit when it comes to working with color in artwork. Through a combination of slide talks and exercises we will strengthen your ability to play with color. We will reference research on color and vision done by Joseph Albers and Margaret Livingstone.
Experience Level: Intermediate
Materials:
Sketchbook with pencil and kneaded eraser
Painting materials of artists choice, can be oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache etc.
Small panels - 6” x 8” recommended
