THIS CLASS CAN BE TAKEN ASYNCHRONOUSLY

In this 2 hour class, students will have an introduction to cross contour drawing. This technique helps students see the fundamental structure of an object or figure. Students will practice using cross contour with still life objects.

Experience Level: No experience needed

Materials:
-Sketchbook
-Larger drawing paper like newsprint, butcher paper, or a larger drawing pad
-Graphite pencils: at least one HB or 2B, and H (hard) pencil like 4H, and a soft (B) pencil like 7B
-Sharpie or felt pen (black)
-India ink (if you have it or want to purchase some) with brushes
-Vine or willow charcoal
