This digital tutorial covers basic file set-up, color selection and vector drawing for textile design using Adobe Illustrator. Participants will learn how to create a simple repeat and half-drop repeat, generate a pattern swatch, and prepare files for POD services such as Spoonflower. Students will try their hand at creating a repeat print sock design, and leave this workshop with the necessary skillset to start designing their own digital textiles with confidence.
